So I want to see remasters of the Pitfall games that released after the NES so that the series has relevance in the modern day again.

Difficulty seems a bit absurd especially on easy and I'm not too fond of the dream sequence killing you if you go off the beaten path or having to wait a bit for the in-game sequences in some levels to start. Maybe have like a checkpoint for the next time you die. Also, not too fond of dodging being tied to the berserk meter. And maybe have an option for the pits being instant death since I prefer how Mario Combat just instantly spawned you back in the action at the cost of some health, but that's just a me thing.
